Improvements, I Hope

I have tried to make posting comments easier by changing the default settings to remove the requirement to sign in..

I also have added information to "How It Works" section to provide a private method of sponsoring miles to those who wish not to identified in the blog. (But I hope you want to post your name--your doing a great thing!)

How It Works

1) Decide to sponsor one or more miles;

2) Add a comment to the Welcome post (should remain as the top post) declaring your sponsorship (ex. I'd like to sponsor 3 miles). If you want to sponsor miles without disclosing your name within the blog, please send an email to kevelshea@gmail.com indicating the number of miles you'd like to sponsor;

3) Donate $10 for each mile sponsored by clicking this link to the Chase Kowalski Memorial Fund and then selecting "Donate". The link allows payment via credit card or PayPal; for snail mail please send a check to: Chase Kowalski Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Peoples Bank, 470 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. Please enter "Chase1000" in the memo/special instructions areas of the check or form to link your donation to this blog;

4) I will reply to your comment to let you know which miles you are sponsoring (ex. you will get miles 76-78 if you sponsor 3 miles and 75 have been previously sponsored). I will also enter a post identifying miles donated anonymously (without identifying the sponsor);

5) Except for anonymous sponsors, I will send another reply to let you know when I have completed your sponsored miles with a brief description of the run and a hearty THANK YOU!
