Feb. 24 - 3.4 Miles Ran

Was a chauffeur for Shea (11) most of the day but was able to get out around 4:15 pm to try to loosen up after the long run yesterday.  My main route is still clogged with now blackening snow, so I ran up and down the streets leading to Day Pond to cover 3.4 miles.  I was pretty stiff and crept up the hills, but I think this run will help me recover a little faster.

The next planned race is a 5K in South Boston on March 17th followed by the The Run for the Families on March 23rd.  I understand that many people supporting the Kowalski's are planning to gather for the race on the 23rd.  I will post information about where to meet and any post-race activities here as it becomes available.
